In 2020, Russia celebrates three significant anniversaries - the 200th anniversary of the discovery of Antarctica by Russian sailors Faddey Bellingshausen and Mikhail Lazarev, the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory, 100 since the end of the Civil War in Crimea. These events are dedicated to the media and film project of Non Profit Partenrship KiT “Rendezvous with Russia 2020. Russian Antarctica. The story continues. ”
For this project the crew of "Rendezvous with Russia 2020" currently participates in the circumnavigation of the three famous Russian tall ships — barks "Kruzenshtern" and "Sedov" and the frigate "Pallada". The project team plans to create a series of documentary films, to multiply the traditions of Russian public diplomacy, to contribute to the international education and information promoting the three key for Russia in 2020 anniversary event.
